Side note... Oleg, Phen and Mahk would be proud of me. I took the Miata out and drove around all afternoon with the top down.... Avg temp: 36 deg.

morning all! tech writing final is today then i get to bolt out for my pre-op surgery appointment! just 11 more days of getting to use my shoulder before its in a sling

remember that the KEY KEY KEY is rehab. you have to keep up with it, exercises at least twice, if not thrice a week and like that for a year, if not two.

On a side note, noticed that I am up to 550 running miles for the year, going try to hit 50 more in the remaining time. Ran in 28 degree weather this afternoon, the coldest yet, wasn't too bad w/ all the gear I had. Last Saturday did a 1.5 hr run and, during that run, certain things got cold that should never get cold... so more "windproof gear" is in the mail...

the p5 is running fine right now, though I will probably try to correct up the alignment to be "straighter" in the steering wheel in my garage when it's above freezing at some point. 197900 miles today.

I use 0W-30 all the time.

Had some excitement at the house. Had 2 trees removed today. Armada of trucks showed up this morning.

does anyone elses p5 seem like it takes a long time for the heat out of the blowers to get real hot? my gfs 93 aero warms up what seems like instantly and the p5 takes a good 10-15 minutes

The P5 is a cast iron block, so it could take a little warmer to warm up than say an aluminum block. Heat transfer into coolant, coolant transfer to heater core, blah blah blah.

It uses the same 3.8 of old? Or is it a new design? The old 3.8 was a peppy V6 for its day.

I remember my 98 Cherokee Classic with the 4.0 would heat up almost instantly and blow out some serious hot air. +1 for Jeep.

a few questions to answer before they are asked

- yes i have the IS-F
- yes i moved to Georgia and sold everything, including the shop
- yes i bought a really nice place in Douglasville just outside of Atlanta on the west side
- yes me and melissa are still expecting our first child soon.
- yes i will be on here more frequently to help anyone, now that the move is over and were finally settled.
