Let's see some Mazda3 5-doors

Cool, same here actually... but this is the first time I took the car - usually I just take the bike - but the GF insisted. (fight)

Hey, I have a question about your hitch. Is it a class one hitch? and what company makes the hitch?

I wondering this because I want to put on a hitch so I can have a bike rack on the hitch instead of on the roof. but the bike rack says only for class 2 or 3 hitches but i can only find class 1 hitches for my mazda 3.

Any help would be amazing.

Thanks.

Aaack sorry Cali, that's sickening!(blarf) Any plans on salvaging the turbo kit or complete rework...

Here is mine:

As far as mods, it has the:
18 inch Konig wheels
tint
12 inch sub with amp attached to the factory radio.
Clifford alarm/remote start
custom catback exhaust
ATX trans cooler
front mask

What you can't see is I resprayed the car. I noticed the paint was super thin, and I ended up completely redoing the entire front clip, both quarter panels, drivers door, passenger rear door in color and clearing the whole car. Also is not seen is I have to use hand controls for the gas and brake and a steering knob.

Are you disabled?

Yes, I have Cerebral Palsy; which (for those not familiar with it) is a physical disability that can range from mild to severe depending on the person. It is characterized by either stiffness of the muscles or involuntary muscle movement; for me, it is stiffness.

The controls are custom hand built. I chose to build them because the ones that are available are over $1,000 and do not necessarily work well with particular cars. The Mazda dash has a metal plate attached to the lower crash pad, which must be permanently secured to the 2 brackets on the dash structure and the controls mounted to it. I found it easier to fabricate the brackets to mount the controls

Im sorry for your disability but nice on the custom fabrication!

NP.

I am a semi retired public school teacher, and spent 5 years teaching auto, particularly body/fender and metal fabrication. I still teach privately, but also co-own an auto repair shop that we specialize in tuning cars (using one of the dyno's we have as well as general maintanance.

Sorry to hear about your disability. I just finally won my disability case (It took 2 1/2 years) againt social security on mine. I look like a person with no problems, but, if you look hard and well, you will be able to notice a thing or two. I have brain damage due to a car wreck back in 2001. I had a vehicle that looked like this:

That turned into this:

I'm no longer able to smell or taste anything. I have chest pains and major headaches often. I wish I could road race / auto cross again, but, if my friends and family knew I was up to doing that again, ugh... drama and I'm about to turn 40. Do I really care? Nope and they know that since I've passed death once.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I took my Mazda out on some "parade" laps with the Porsche Club. They kept asking me if my car was a Speed3. I was like, nooooooo.... My car has an automatic and no turbo. I just told them that I know how to driver/race.
