O ya...and I'm in the TWM Group Buy for a Flat Black Big Type-R Shift Knob...can't wait for that bad boy. The OEM shift knob is wayyyy to light!!! I think that's one of the contributing factors to the sloppy stock shifting on the MS3.

that and the s*** for bushings dont help either, haha

weighted knob, and bushing will do wonders for the shifting on our cars, STS just makes it look prettier and improve the throw distance but if you do bushings, knob and the SSP i think you would be very happy with the result

I got 2/3 right now...SSP (w/ weight) and Bushings helped out dramatically. The only issue with the SSP is that because the distance is shorter, it requires more effort. Everyone says a heavier shift knob fixes that. Also, many people say that changing the MS3 tranny fluid to MT-90 improves the feel too. Idk if that will be necessary, but we will see.

I agree...every mazda owner should do these things. My shifting confidence is like 100x better because of them!

^I have Redline MT-90 in my MSP have nothing but praise for it. Good stuff even though it is like $15-18 a quart.

I LOVE my seats!!! I think they have just enough support for spirited driving, but amazing comfort. They might not have the large bolsters Recaros have, but for my 99.9% street driving, they are perfect.

There are 2 different ms3 seats if you didn't already know. My car is the Grand Touring with Alcantara seats with Leather Bolsters. There's also the cloth seats that come in the Sport. The Alcantara is like a cross between Leather and Suede.

ms3 seats are NOT cheap haha a certain unamed site to this forum has a pair of the fronts for 550 shipped and full sets normally run 700+

I really wanna thank Pablo. He did a lot! He knew exactly what we were doing, so few issues and confusion that occurred, he knew exactly what to do! I think we actually technically used the instructions, but only once to verify what we had done was indeed correct.

No problem man, I did a lot with mine and struggled enough to know how to do things

I'm thinking about asking Pablo and Wes to be my business partners... haha. But your Speed3 sounds freaking amazing now. I'm really surprised how much just the air intake helped your car breath. Yay Corksport!

I'm down for that, and the biggest difference is made by the turbo inlet, that's what reducing his spool time

this guy is dissapointed, been waiting on an item to show up at my door, and when i get it, it looks like crap so now i have to go through the process of returning it. just a bummer really.

on a side note, i feel bad for my gf, before she met me she's been told so many lies about her focus (bad car i know, she bought before we were dating) and what kind of parts she needs to replace factory ones. Sears (diehard) told her she needed a special battery that was $145 soon after she bought the car (used), battery died last night and got a new one for $73 at O'Rielly's. There's been other things as well but you guys get the idea.

If I didn't buy the Recaros a few months back I would definitely hit one of you guys up on some decent seats for my P5. The stockers in P5's and MSP's are just terrible...

Jon-hit up Kevin (KZL_99ES) and ask him to ask the new buyers if they want the motor or not. Maybe you guys can work out a deal since I don't think they are using the S4 anyway. And We can pull it Saturday morning before they come to pick it up. And you're more than welcome (as well as anyone else) to spend the night, no worries.
