What have you done to your P5 today?

blow-off. ive got the one from the cxracing kit right now, and ive also got the hks black v2. i'll run the cx one until i can get a bracket for the hks bov.

down-stream of MAF = fail. Not the end of the world, but no where near ideal. If it were me, and I wanted to have a BOV, have the original BOV hole sealed properly (ie: welded), and put a new one welded in upstream of the MAF. But that's just me.

used a breaker bar today for the KMR ladder brace, and tie bar install, really wish i had that breaker bar a long time ago.

i called my insurance and my car is totalled. no more p5.

so i have to remove all the things ive put on it, wheels, mp3 ecu, header, hid lights, tein springs.

and i satrt looking for something else. gti 1.8t is a very good option. im probably gonna keep coming here. gotta keep the posts up you know :p

Sorry to hear, but why not just buy it back and fix it yourself. From the looks of the pics, its just the rear bumper cover (possibly metal bumper as well), hatch, and tail light... certainly that can't be too much to replace?

it was totalled because the costs of reparation would be more than what the car is worth. It means it would cost more than what i want to put in a 9 years old car. Plus, i dont have the time or experience to do that kind of job.yeah, metal bumper is ****** too.

its just another reason to change carand im really interested in a gti 1.8t.

i wont get the vr6. 1.8t have been doing good i think. And stage 2 will kick any 24v(not the ones with turbo tho).

A couple more updated pics of the progress. Hooked up a few vacuums, and the vibrant vacuum dist. block. I also hooked up the oil feed line and water return line. I am waiting on two couplers to arrive to finish the i/c piping, and need to run to ACE tomorrow to get a new bolt for the water feed block attach point. I also need to drill the oil pan to attach the oil return as well.
