Well i currently have a P5 and im thinking about getting another Mazda so I narrowed it down to the Mazda3 but i dont know if i want the 5dr or 4dr. Which one is better overall? I like the 5dr but im thinking th 4dr would have more room. Although i really like the 5dr. The 4dr is cheaper so if you can help me out and give me your opinions. Thanks

oh god... not another sedan vs hatch therad

Its all based on personal peference. what ever you think looks better you get.
Sedan people will tell you to get a Sedan
Hatchback people will say get a hatch.

There are 2 threads going on right now. pics of 5 door and sedan, look at both for s**** and giggles and then make a decision. and 2010 is completely different, and there is a bunch of threads for those as well. just navigate though the mazda 3 sub forums.

Again.. 2010 vs 2009 is personal preference. Some people like the happy face some people don't. its your car, you should base your decisions on what a forum says to do. Do whatever you think is best.

as for 2010 vs 2009.

2010 has a different engine (2.5 instead of a 2.3) and a 6 speed manual in the 2.5 vs the 5 speed in the 2.3.

I dont know much about the 2.5 but ive had my 6 with the 2.3 for 4 years (52k) and Ive had zero problems with it. Its a great engine and it seems to be pretty solid. Im sure it could go for another 52k but i will let the next owner do that :).

I had lots of friends who have 3's with 70-80k and they also are doing great with no major mechanical problems (most of the problems had to do with modifications they had done)
