The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

last night was bad, the ump gave halladay some strikes he wasn't giving volquez, but they're not out yet

LOL @ bitching about the umps....
they were pretty damn consistant with balls and strikes (comparing to the pitch trax on the side of the screen) granted there were a couple here or there but some of those were for reds pitchers too so dont use that "the umps werent giving us some calls" as a sorry ass excuse haha :P

i'm just calling it like i saw it, the ump gave the low inside (to leftys) to halladay more than he did volquez. granted it was only about 3 pitches for halladay and about 20 for volquez. Of course it didn't help he was a little wild either. Doesn't take away that halladay pitched a great game, and the phillies would've still won. you can't win when you only get a runner to 1st base once

im just givin ya s*** bud... if volquez wasnt so erratic with his location he would have gotten that call...
wood got that call a couple times in relief of volquez

if your pitcher is struggling with command, he will almost never get the call on the outside corners....

Yeah, I wasn't going to mention it, but I think we're talking a 1-0 game if Volquez was getting that low strike. That being said, he got chased on a walk, an infield hit, another walk, a weak liner to left, and (finally) one hard hit ball. Add six and 1/3 shut-out innings by the bullpen, and it looks a little better.

Just gotta wake up the bats.

So... Lewis Motorsports eh? I see how it is... I go to China, and I lose the garage. Hahahahahaha. ;) j/k

Just my half of the garage is Lewis Motorsports. The other half is all yours, buddy. Speaking of which, I'm going to clean it all out Sunday and TRY to organize it. I'll probably hit you up asking what you would like where on your side so we can cram Lindsay in there for the winter again and hopefully still have room to swap the tranny, if you want to tackle that this winter.

Man itis nice to have the MSP back! Didn't realize how nice itis tillI had to drivemy parents Olds Alero. That car has some gremlins hiding in it. Cell light on, cell light off, Tranction control light on, then off, sercive engine light on, then of. Don'tget me started on the aweful brakes. GM cars just aren't made like they use to be. I feel like I can't buy anything domestic unless it is pre-1980.

the gmc typhoon and cyclone (89?) were pretty bad ass imo. and don't forget the shelby daytona.

There are very few cars from that era that had their "coolness". I just think the big 3 survived in an era with little emissions and no on board computers. Japanese carsdon't have to rely on Onstar or NSYNCto wow costumers. Just by driving the car they connect with the consumer.

i like how the few we mentioned are turbo'd...with that in mind the buick grand national is a nice looking car at least, can't imagine they handle great though

Cool, I hope it can make me a drift king in my FWD MS3...I'll just mount it on top of my little spoiler already to have DOUBLE WING POWA!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would go with a hood mount. Looks like it is tall enough to see under. Herra downforce bro! Fast (left nut) and Furious (right nut)!
