What have you done to your P5 today?

I guess it came loose somehow, not sure since it hasn't given me any problem in the 50,000 or so miles I have put on it in the last year...I have a spare midpipe off the Speed I think...and the SPoo led up racing header...

Mine is torn down in the garage...throwing a TON of Cels and about to do a compression test on it...the spark plugs in both 1 and 2 were swimming in oil when I got home...damn near submerged...

this is one of the worst things ive ever read on the forums....just because i know your story.. sucks dude.

im a little late getting them loaded up but here are the crappy cell pics from the harness bar install.
the bottom of the bar is mounted to the same bolt that holds in the seat belt assembly.

top mount this was the hardest to do, i dont like the mount being on the adjustable portion for the seat belt but it is rock solid. i would had much rather mounted it to bolts that go into the pillar for the bracket, but this bar just didnt reach that far.

Yea, that wasn't the fix...gave up diagnosing on my own and brought it to the mechanic...only guy I know locally that may be able to fix it...

I honestly have no clue why I haven't given up on it...it has left me stranded and been broken more times than I can imagine...seriously though, I think it is the connection with it and how much I enjoy the car when it isn't having problems...

As do I but I can only take so much w/o any results.

its not the same purple you got though lol it turned out more of a maroon

yeah the way the bar is set up the tabs angle in, instead of out, if they went out i wouldnt have had to cut the plastic.
i probably didnt have to cut such a large piece out but oh well. if i would had mounted the upright supports on the tap where the belt connects to the car instead of where i did i would have saved that cut too. this bar really doesnt work well at all for the car, but works enought.
is your bar still in, id like to know how it measures hole to hole? and how yours is mounted.
