scratch: how old are you and how many cars have you owned and tuned.... this is my first and my pocket is going to college.

Chef: what suspension you running and how cheap did you get it?

I am 21...this is the first car I have bought with my own money, got it two and a half years ago...first one tuning as well...I hear you though, there are a TON of mods you can do cheaply...

what did you pay to get them painted, im just short on money right now and i still have a 4 months to find out if im going off to college or commuting. how low priced was everything

Have you ever thought about getting the vinyl eyelids???

when you connect the horns up do you just make the wire longer that the stock horn was wired to or what, like how easy is it to install

They are very easy to install, I have a set on my car, nothing really more than extending/splicing the stock harness and adding an extra ground...much louder also...

nice yeah you cant even hear the stock horn around 80-100mph on highway

Search around locally for an air horn setup...much louder than the Hella horns...

and i really cant find anything cheap for this car, exhaust is like 500 shipped, coils 1-1.7 k, turbo well yeah 4k,

It's a mazda. They are not cheap to modify. At least there are aftermarket parts for it. Everything I did to my old mx6 had to be custom or made by an mx6 community member.

LOL about the air horn. We had one in my brother's s10 for a while but it got thrown out when I didn't get the whole thing out the window before blowing it. Talk about ringing ears.

Glad to see some local's but yea skip the hand held air horn lol and get a train horn setup I love mine.I have a buddy that has a hatch like you guys it's white with black wheel's on it.

haha i got a better one, i took my windshield line and moved it to the fender so i just spray people with water, its great all the time

Check out Corksport cat back exhaust. Cant remember price right off but I know its a damn sight less than 500 bucks.

Yea but the CS exhaust is on backorder... True waited like 2 months and just said screw it and ordered a vibrant..

If you really want a cheap exhaust, buy a muffler and have a shop bend the piping. there is one on youtube that sounds pretty good and i think he paid like $100 for everything.

yup ^^ they still aint finished production yet. last they told me was october 4th they would be done and that was another month at the time, i just canceled and went vibrant

wow um i thought corksport had a better rep then that, i am waiting to see if im going to commute to college or dorm, if im dorming im not putting money into something i wont use
