still having issues with the site not loading....anyone else having these problems?

Another thing I've noticed is that it seems to take a relatively long time (at times, not always) for a new message to load once you've clicked on the "post reply" button.

In certain cases, this may be the reason why we are getting double posts as someone will want to hit the quick reply button again wondering what is going on. I know it's happened to me once, but don't know if it's the reason for all the double posting we are seeing.

Still no answer to my early post issue. When I click on new posts the post count shows page 1-5, then if I move to page 2 it shows page 2-6 count. This goes on till the page count catches up to the end.

I for one miss having the User CP link right there in the main navigation bar. First thing I always do when I sign onto most forums is click the link that shows me new posts in all the threads I am subscribed to. I know I can still get there through the Settings link at the top right.... but since it's such a key navigation element, I prefer to have it front and center.

Maybe I'm just weird like that though....

EDIT: just noticed you can get there through the Quick Links menu right below the main navigation bar. I guess that's better, but being as I'll click that link literally 50 times more than anything else up there (along with the New Posts link), it would still be my personal preference to have it as a large button.

I understand the navigation/tab layout is quite a bit different and while it may take time to get used to...It should improve and streamline the whole experience...Give it time...I'm getting used to it already...

Everything has been working well for the most part on my end...Please be more specific (exact details).

Regarding the note about hitting the "quick reply" button multiple times... just FYI, I know exactly when double-posting will happen to me because the whole site just slooooows down completely. This is probably where some people will hit the button multiple times and a double-post appears. However, I make it a point to hit the button ONLY ONCE but the double-posting still happens.

Here's a new one. The past couple of times I have logged on, I get the thank you screen while it logs me in, but then when the forum index comes up, it has the place for logging on showing and my name is nowhere to be found (you know, it's usually in the top right corner. I can make posts etc so I am actually logged on, it just isn't showing.

Now if I go to a thread and post (like this one) then go back to the index, it does show me as logged on.

Edit: Ironically, the exact same thing happened for THIS post while reporting another one. And it now seems I can't delete this double post... aghhh! (braindead
