What have you done to your 2010+ Mazda3 today?

Sounds good Nate....seems very similiar to my MSP axle back on the P5.
yea it's audible but pleasant, definitely worth the small investment

sorry for the boring stop-and-go video... that's pretty much how driving is around DC :D

btw: what happened w/your sig?... it's wayyyy over 300 px high (the limit for sigs ;))
the MX-5 wheels do look nice, though...

lol....you don't need to tell me about driving around DC. My only experience is on 95 in the area and that is just fine for me.

Damn....I must not have re-sized my pic to the proper size??? I am pretty sure it is the same size as the pic I replaced..... Cool if I get it fixed in a couple of hours? Getting ready to go hang with the boy before bedtime. It's his last night of summer.

Oh and thanks....re the wheels. They would be perfect if they were 16x7 and +45....thinking of getting some 5mm spacers.

spacers would definitely complete the look!

and your sig looks more "proper" now (2thumbs)

Yeah, the +55 offset has them sunk in a little too much for my liking.

??? Ok, I didn't change anything so unless you worked some magic, not quite sure what happened. lol

Back, on topic....we used the 3 today for multiple errand running in-between soccer games.

If 50% is your only legal option, I wouldn't bother.

yeah. I am thinking 35% all the way around. Police dont care about tint around here unless they pull you over for speeding or something and even then, they might just let you slide. I see people all the time with 35% or darker around here. After looking at some 50% windows, it looks like there is hardly any tint on it at all.

Ahh I just noticed you're in Cincinnati. I had 20% when I was in Cinci. It wasn't until I moved to DC that I had to remove it.

Yea for some reason it was displaying as like 600 pixels high before... (dunno)

Changed on the RR RSB bushings to greasable and installed Aeroforce Interceptor.

They probably wouldn't hassle you for 35%, but it's your choice on the matter. Personally, even 50% is better than no tint at all - with a sunshade, the car will look pretty dark and will be noticeable. Plus it blocks UV and won't shatter if you get in an accident.

sweet thanks! I see people driving around here all the time (my neighbor included) with some really dark tints. Dont seem to be hassled at all by it. Where did you have your tint done here?

It is horrible without tint. Even with a windshield shade, the black interior draws so much heat.

thanks for the info!

Ummm some place up by Tri County, I think it was just called Tint Masters.

thanks Nate. I will check them out.

Got the badges painted today. finishing them up tomorrow. Started with the front.. wow... that thing was a p.i.t.a. to get off! I have godzilla hands so i ended up taking the top bumper pins off so the top of the bumper could flex enough to get my hand down there to press the clips holding the mazda badge to release it.
I painted it with flat black rustolium and thought i would throw a clear coat on.... well... clear coat didnt look too good. between the bugs that kept jumping on the fresh paint (had to do it in the grass in a cardboard box) and causing it to screw the paint up, i started all over, took some paint thinner to it and got back to chrome. I am just going to keep it flat black. looks better anyways.

Still trying to figure out what I will want for the rear. the mazda emblem is going to stay on but trying to figure out if I like it without the "mazda 3" or with just "mazda". Guess I will just have to temporarily tape it on there to find out.

not on there all the way, nor does it have a second coat on it. I like it so far!

next mod on the list..... LED interior lights! I am also trying to save up to get Wet Okole seat covers.

Cool....good to know it's legit.

QFT!! We use the shade as well but the interior is still hot as hell when the car sits out in the sun.

hahaha yeah! I just like how fast the AC cools things down. With my last car, you would have to leave the thing running for a bit just to get in to bearable heat. haha I left a digital thermometer in it one day and it said it was 130 inside the car.

Improved the 3rd brake light. Mine = Decepticons; wife's = Autobots.

HIDs arrived....installing them tomorrow. Just need to figure out where I want to mount the ballasts.

Also sent Tam a link to Lord Zaths pics of the RA mud flaps....after she commented on running thru some gravel and cringed at hearing them being kicked up at the car.

I still have not permanently mounted mine yet, but i just used a zip tie on each on a wiring harness on each side of the car behind the headlamps. Never any issue.

What color you get? i have 8000k not too blue (after fully lit/warmed up) sometimes i wish i would of gotten 6500k but cant complain.
