Got an awesome deal on some mint NB's with good tires. I love how it looks and the improved handling from the smaller sidewall is awesome!

I REALLY like those 15" NB wheels on NAs. Sharp looking wheels and just look right. That's what our stockers should have looked like IMO

I am a big fan of newer gen wheels on older gen cars.

Now I can add the Miata to the list. :D

On Sunday I installed FM springs, changed diff oil over to royal purple, and changed my engine oil after a seafoam treatment. The New England rust was a PITA on the rear sway bar, but what killed me was that the K&N oil filter did not fit properly on the engine and my car pissed a couple quarts of oil all over the garage floor.

Anyone else have a similar experience with a K&N filter? I double-checked the part number on their website and its listed as compatible with the Miata, but its about an inch shorter than the oil filter I took off from the previous owner.

No idea man, that's weird. I usually use Purolator PureOne filters (the ones w/ the grippy yellow exterior)

Are you sure the old oil filter seal came off? I always check the old one to make sure. It's happened a couple of times on different cars.
