What have you done to your MSP today?

03-05 Mazda 6 => 11.1" rotors=> Fits no problem with a 16" wheel
06-07 Mazda 6 => 11.8" rotors=> Fits no problem with a 16" wheel
06-07 MazdaSpeed 6 => 12.2" rotors=> Must have a 17" wheel minimum

i knew it was somwhere

i can't seem to find what thread lugs i need, is it m8 x 1.5 or m8 x 1.25?

yeah i know i need to run 17s. i dont mind. i dont plan on running 16s. i was considering a set of fd s for when i actually start to autocross but ill just find some lightweight 17s

the FDs have a LOT of clearance for a 16" wheel, I wonder if they might slide by that recommendation.. I'd have to find someone willing to throw a jack under an MS6 to find out though.

I seen a msp with ms6 breaks, OVERKILL imo. For her it wasn't but she is highly modified but them brakes are huge, a lot bigger than I thought by looking at pics online.

ive seen a MS3 with FD's so i figure that the fd's would fit over the MS6 calipers seeing as they are like .3" smaller or something like that

check the bolts on your intake manifold, some may have come loose,
also, i would suggest making a boost leak tester, very simple and a great tool to have, i found numerous leaks in my car that i couldnt find before, and the vac was even spot on
there's normally a few air leaks around the injectors, possibly the PCV, and maybe at the TB
or you could just spray soapy water around the injectors while the car is running to see if it bubbles up, if it does then u got a leak

The VC bolts were loose, just like in my P5 but I haven't checked the IM, i'll do that today.
did you gap your plugs?

They are as they came NGK ZFR6F-11, should be .032 IIRC but i'll check them.

Have you tried swapping in a known good MAF, to rule that out?

Not yet I need to find someone around here with a 2.0L, I don't think I can buy one and return it if I don't need it. It may be a MAF but it's a specific misfire, either the 2nd or 4th cyl. MAFs are known to do crazy things when they are on the fritz, though.

On a side note yesterday I rewired the stock sub because of the PO's hack job of the factory wiring and replaced all the Kenwood speakers with my Infinity Kappas and Pioneer 6.5s in the back. So basically I pulled apart and reinstalled the entire interior.

i ran with .040 gapped ngk's for 4 years. changed them recently and gapped the new ones at .030. havn't noticed anything different

^^ From personal experience they always come right about .042 out of the box. Haven't done anything to the car except trying to decide what to buy this week lol. Definitely getting motor mounts just gotta figure what set up I wanna go with and also an exhaust since mine is hanging :( lol. Looks like the car has a limp d**k. haha. But either going with Vibrant's turbo back or thinking Thermal's catback exhaust with Corksports dp and a high flow cat. Like the close to stock look. Any comments very welcome.
