Ok, so today was a busy one...

Checked & filled up all fluids in both SP20 & Laser
Vacuumed SP20 & Laser
Washed SP20
Changed headlight bulbs in laser
Changed front & rear wiper blades on Laser
Removed Zoom Zoom sticker off rear window on SP20
Removed "Need for Mazdaspeed" decals off rear side windows
Stuck Team Pro5 decals on rear side windows

cheers! to tell the truth im getting bored with the car, as most idea's cost money and well, missus has cracked the whip to start saving So now that I am saving, I must resist purchasing a black Mazdaspeed seat, they are so hot!

Drove her for the first time in a week and filled the tank.

Did a few things over the past week. Pics are kinda crappy because I was too lazy to pull the car out of the garage.

Took the side moldings off

Used the Meguiars Ultimate Compound to polish the car. Worked great with a 10" orbital buffer. Both front and rear bumpers were extremely dull. So was the area over the license plate. Made them look like a different color from the rest of the car. There were also large water drip marks on the rear door.

Cut 4" off of my Yakima Forklift bike rack, so the real hatch can open all the way.

And a stubby antenna

Looks great! Let me ask you for your honest opinion though, when you shut the door does it make a loud clunk since the mouldings been removed? I was debating on removing my side moldings because they do looks great without them but my friends protege doors are loud as hell since he's removed them.

I think they are still solid enough...but you could always install some sound deadener, would be a win-win! (I need to get some ordered, so my stereo can really shine.)

i didnt notice any difference at all. the only sound i hear when i close my door is my house keys in that door pocket.

i think there is a huge difference from molding to non moldings
i hate the noise my door makes when i close it, sounds like tin foil

i hate it so much i only did one door lol the rest still have moldings and still shut solidly

ya i hate the sound of my doors without the moldings. but i think it is worth it for the looks!

well i just installed my sub/amp that i got for free, sounds way better with some good bass in the car now!
