What would you replace your Speed 6 with?

It's not often that you have folks join forums 'after' they get rid of the car...much less make a first post on. I've been on the other site since day 1 of ownership and didn't find out about this location till after.

I got rid of this...

Probably the only thing I would have swapped it for...wanting to keep for winters (and still have a manual).

I really would like to replace mine with something with a "real" AWD system. This car has far too much understeer when approaching the limits in the twisties. Feels more FWD than anything. But I can't get any of the Euro's, or EVO's & WRX's. Just not my style.

I dunno man, I get on the gas and my backend definitely has some kick to it. All I've got is RPM springs for suspension mods. With the stock springs it was a little front-heavy though.

I have actually drifted the car myself, but in tight technical sections it plows the front like a FWD car. On sweepers, or less tight turns you can use the gas to tighten your line, but on the types of roads, and auto-x courses I am talking about it becomes pretty apparent this was a FWD that will occasionally use AWD.

Also, I am really getting dissapointed in the stock power output. When I wasn't driving my MSP so much it was fine, but I have been racing and driving the MSP more and more, and the MS6 has been feeling slower and slower, lol.

Already Done.
F150 Lariet. Very nice 2007 Only 27K miles.
and only 23K.
Fits nicely with a Starcraft Islander 22 foot Cuddy.
It's the BEST accessory!!

There are a plenty of cars that I would replace mine with IF I made enough money to do so. So for now I am sticking with the speed6. Since it's almost paid off. I still love the car.

BUT. I would go with a new mustang, sti, or evo if it came down to it. I would only buy brand new. No used ones. But if I were going to spend that much would buy the new ford SVT Raptor in blue. :D

Im with Qwik6 on this one... but beyond that i'll prolly drive mine into the ground, i luv mine.

im kinda dissappointed with how many people want to get rid of their MS6, right after they pay it off, or before that even... not tru fans, to be frank. It's all good to each their own. Hell once my MS6 finally dies, ill get either the newest STi or A4/S4... and if im really well off that far down the road, an RS4 prolly.

I dont think the MS6 will ever really leave my posessions. Its not worth dumping stupid amounts of money into then selling it to a person that knows nothing about the car, plus you never make back what you put in. stupid depreciating assets.
