What have you done to your MSP today?

Yeah I just need the turbo now! LOL!, once this block is installed im going to start working on putting all my suspension back together, then hopefully I will have fenders by then and install them! :)
 
Yeah, hopefully one day down the line i can make a drawling for them and make one on the CNC machine at my parents company... If I could make pulley sets for cars :) that would be pimp.

I should ask my dad, hes a machine shop mgr..

are they just modeled after the stock ones but lighter or are they underdrive?
 
you basterd Outlaw, lol I just went to load a map for the ssafc and I FINALLY got to work great, the car hauls ass now for the most part with a good tune, and I was at 10psi, and was just thinking... hmm I really need to forge this thing and get a GT28RS lol..

def shud get rid of the stock turbo even on a good tune its risky cuz they aren't efficient n you cud cause damage.. invest in water/meth kit
 
^^ hmm, interesting, how would a smaller turbo be more risky than a larger one? and what do you mean the stock/inefficient turbo could damage my engine?, and I dono about a water/meth kit, I was planning on looking at them, but I just use my car as a DD and only push it here and there, once I build the engine I plan to get more and more stuff, but for now I dono... for room/time's sake what would be the major down points to what you were talking about?

The bigger turbo doesn't have to work as hard to push the same CFM, it's easier on the turbo. Methanol lowers intake temps while simultaneously reducing detonation.

smaller turbo has to work harder to build up higher boost.. causing it too heat up alot more making you blow hot ass air into your engine that = not good.. bigger turbo = more efficient, cooler and more air flow+meth/water= better for your engine.. i been runnin a gt2860rs on stock internals for years now n i run my car hard as F*** all the time n its my DD at 12psi with my boost controller high settin on 14psi .. most ppl on here who blow there s*** up is cuz they try to up the boost on that tiny turbo.. 10psi on that turbo is pretty risky.
 
Ohhh.. hmm, thank you very much for the info, I kinda had an idea that was the case, but wasn't really sure, that makes sense.. well looks like I will be saving up for the disco potato turbo sometime kinda soon.... not sure when because I have to save up for my cross country road trip but ya that will be next on my list, thanks for the heads up.. I usually keep it around 9.5-10 at most but it usually is around 9ish, I will keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't go higher

and ya I knew about the meth generally, that will be one of my later things to do, first the turbo, then the forged internals and a few other goodies
