wow. how long it take you to install it? like 20 minutes? why the wait?

well, on saturday I beat the piss out of it keeping up with my fiance's crazy uncle on his harley, with 3 other bigger guys in the car.

Also found out that with 5 people in the car, I do in fact rub a little bit on back ass country roads.

Replaced the passenger side brake light. In the process I replaced/received:

1 taillight bulb
+ 2 lost interior pin holder thingies
+ 3 cuts (one really nasty one)
+ 4 mosquito bites (I think they're mosquito bites... Could be the onset of West Nile...)

= No more people motioning frantically for me to roll my window down to tell me that my brake light is out while sitting in traffic...

saw a member on here with this sticker and I liked it so I figured I would order one too!!! lol I ordered a warning sticker too just for the hell of it. Waiting on my CS j pipe to come in the mail. All I need now is a s pipe to finally complete my exhaust. May end up ordering the intake and exhaust cams from Corksport since until this day, there are still no dyno results for a boosted application with these cams. After that, Steedspeed exhaust mani and may even jump in on this upcoming intake mani..modding is addicting!!!!!!!!!

I told myself a year ago that I was done modding the car. Then I spent a couple grand turboing it, upgrading the valve body, transmission cooler and all that stuff. Then I said I was done again. Then I bought some BC coilovers. Then I said I was done again. Now I have a corksport radiator and slim fan coming in tomorrow.... It never ends.

LMAO..that's funny, it never ends. You buy a handful of mods and you enjoy them for a while, then you are "done". Then the "mod bug" bites again and it starts all over again. I told myself I was going to just get an intake and exhaust and now look at my mod list, plus my future mods that I want now that I was bitten by the mod bug, this is also a result of being a member on here. If I had not found this forum, I probably would not have spent money on my car other than gas..lol

Yep I blame this forum for everything lol. Right now I'm just babying it and hoping the trans and engine hold together for another year or so. Either way, don't wanna get too off-topic so I'll stop there haha.

I'm fairly certain I finally diagnosed the source of my problem (Code P0171 - "Bank 1 Too Lean"). The symptoms seem to point to a failed vacuum check valve located between bank 1 and bank 2 on the intake manifold. Damian (boostdprotegelx) and I will be replacing this next Sunday. Will let you all know how it goes.

I know this code has been the source of many mystery issues and much stress for quite a few fellow MSP owners. Maybe this relatively cheap fix ($25 part from Mazda) will help alleviate some of the stress we have been experiencing due to this code.
