What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Edit: My led tails came in the mail today. I took my stock tails out and cleaned the area behind them waiting on the mail today. And it came as soon as I was ready. Then I realized it had a whole wiring harness and no instructions were included. I thought they were plug n play but I guess not. I didnt have enough time before work to run all of the wiring so back to my stock tails for now. :( If I can find a how-to tonight I will try to install these tonight when I get off.

Ok guys. The outsides are plug and play. but the insides have a completely new wiring harness. Looks easy enough. I installed all 4 of the tails just now. The outisdes just plug right up. I still need to hook up the new wiring harness on the inside ones. This needs the brake light mod as well to make it where all 4 lights light up when you hit the brakes.

Well guess my luck... The negative side of the resistor on the outside drivers side one broke off. It needs to be replaced and cant be fixed. It has a heat sink to it as well. Also on the passeneger side. One of the plugs wires broke off inside the the plug. Now I gotta try to solder this up. I hate to say it but overall I am not too impressed with the quality of how they put them together. I could have a bad batch maybe. But the actual screws in the center of the led boards are loose. The only way to tighten them up would be to take the tail light completely apart to get inside to hold a allen head to turn the lock nut on the back. I was pretty pissed when I noticed this. I mean how did they mess this up? On the insides 3 of 4 of them are loose.....

They all sit pretty flush and line up with the exception of the passenger outside assembly. I cant seem to get that one to make flush with the inside piece.

I would have took pics but its way too humid outside for any of that. Lense stayed fogged up.
 
:( man i hope the rest of them arent that "bad" of quality.. bad meaning there was several noticeable defects with the product instead of just 1.. id hate to see all of them be like that.. $350 for the set is not cheap, and id be super pissed if i got a set like that, theyd go right back.
 
I already pmd the guy. I hope they dont have to be returned back to china and then new ones sent. Looks like I will have to wait another month. Besides. they are on the car already. It wasnt until I got everything in that i noticed this mess.
 
little more maf scaling, not happy still with the down low area of the table, needs some assistance around the 4-20g/s range. other then that ltft holds about +/- 2% :)

also managed to squeeze another 1.5 psi of bewst :) now holding 17.6 psi ftw. still another pound and a bit to go to reace the lable thats on the map. Thanks again t. best aka quick6
 
Installed my Corksport Power Series Intake this weekend.. I know I haz a dirty engine bay..

Will do. LED tails are in and working!!!! Wiring was cake on them. I still have the garage closed up since its so hot outside. Pics as soon as I take it out the garage. I am about to roll the rear wheels on the ramp to work on the exhuast. The rattle from the rear is starting to get on my nerves. The axle back part is hitting on the heat shield. I went ahead and vacuumed and detailed the interior. I am gonna flash my new map with the load cap raised.
 
ugh. what a long ass day.. i loaded my new "updated" Load Cap tables in from what i originally ran on saturday morning...

Taylor i tried my scaled table and it didnt quite feel right.. so then i put your 2.75 after 3000 rpm numbers in.. felt like it did before, which is a good thing :D we'll see how it all reacts to the Blow Thru setup that i hope to install tomorrow.:D

Yea. I took mine otu for a drive today and it fel slower. I guess I was looking for it to be faster but it wouldnt make a difference anyhow. I was only hitting 18psi at first. Then after a few WOT pulls I was holding 20. Max load I hit in 3rd and 4th was 205.

Yea. One of the capicitors on the drivers side broke so the turn signals on the divered is like a strobe. lol. I should be getting a replacement.
