I got my car dynoed this weekend to see how my car would do. Here is the results and tell me what you think.

power seems to hold longer then the older speed3s(did they even change anything?), what type of dyno was it?

makes sense seeing as the ECU starts closing the throttle plate at at 5000 rpms, then drastically closes it even more at 5800 rpms... we have a lot to deal with and no tuning lol

Without mods. I am bone stock as far an engine mods.

gotcha. i'm always curious what the stock number are. i've seen numbers all over the map from different people. seems like the consensus is that the mustang dyno is the most accurate and i don't imagine these numbers being any different for the first gen MS3. i had a chance to dyno mine when it was stock but i didn't do it...

Yeah I wanted to get a baseline of where I was starting and plus I get to find out exactly where my power band is. The next time I will dyno is after my intake and exhaust but i am waiting for the warranty to wear out first. I am playing it on the safe side.

It was on an Mustang dyno.

nice numbers for that type of dyno

is that what they changed? not sure if your agreeing or answering lol.

i just remember seeing 09 and older dynos where the car takes a dive bomb at 5200ish rpms in the power, and it seem to be a lil more level now with this guys 2010 dyno results.

oh i thought you said looks like it drops power more than the old speeds. the ecu is more restrictive now. and we have no way of getting around the issue with the throttle plate at the moment. cobb ap doesnt work. cp-e sb can tune but doesnt adress the throttle plate issues

give it some time someone will get it figured out, car just came out haha. (that is if your talking about the 2010, still a lil confused haha)

yes i am lol. i believe cp-e is working on a standalone.

i know it will come. i just hate waiting for s***. no guage pods, no proper tuning, no datalogging, etc, im dying here lol.

A dive bomb at 5200ish rpms?? That's odd, most I've seen for 07-09's are right in line with the OP's DYNO. And when I've driven a 10' sure enough the power dropped off just at the point my 08' drops off. The best shifting point for both 1st / 2nd GEN MS3's remain at around 5750rpms and both still require 5 shifts for the best 1/4.

Can you show us these drive bomb @5200rpm DYNO? I've just did a huge search and couldn't find not one 07-09 MS3 DYNO which showed a dive bomb@ 5200rpms.
