alright. so started taking the car appart to replace the wga actuator today and found a bit of awesomeness.

this might explain why my car shreeks at me high rpm wot.
there is a little oil in the hot-pipe too so i wanted to do an inspection of the turbo ect..

someone mentioned you can take the wga off without pulling the mani, but how do you get in there with c-clip pliars to get the clip off the wg butterfly?

and failing that, does anyone happen to know the size of box wrench i need for the egr?

and this crack. can this be mig welded closed?

and heh at the catback only heh.
im gonna order magnaflow parts and make the pipes myself. save some money prob 2.5 cause my msp will never go higher than 300 hp. ill buy another car for that.

You could but it will not be nice due to the fact that it is cast and also all the impurities that are in the crack from the exhaust. have someone with some experience do it because it tends to blow out really easy. I just did one for a van the other week. It was a pain to get adjusted and had to weld it 3 times to get it to seal perfectly and not fail the water test. As a temp fix great but permanent not so much.

bleh. i cant afford to replace it for a while so i might get someone to look at it for a temp fix.

still, got this atp here and need to get it in.

I used a flat screwdriver to remove the clip. it requires some patience, but it can be done. I also pulled the EGR pipe off for clearance, using a crescent wrench.

Depends which Corksport downpipe you got. If you got the older style that replaces only the S-pipe, then the Vibrant mates up to it. If you got the new style Corksport downpipe that replaces both S and J pipes, then the Corksport 80mm fits perfect. The Vibrant would have to be cut down to mate up to the new Corksport downpipe.
