What have you done to your P5 today?

No worries. I was gonna say... "Wait a second... Andrew knows those are regular 6's and definitely not turbo'd..."

Aww s***, I should've posted in bold "I know it's not a race car" before all the Miata guys came in. haha!

I just meant the looks and what not. I know MY P5 is not a race car and will see minimal track/auto-x time. I just meant that the interior look. I don't want to remove the carpet and plastic moulding fromthe rear because I have a nice stereo with a small powered sub and I don't want to loose the acoustic treatment of the carpet and plastic molding. My stripped out civic sounded like ass in the cabin, even after I sprayed it all with truck bedliner. I was just thinking outloud if I sold my leather Catskins and bought two racing seats and got rid of the rear seats, thats all. I know I won't loose much weight, but I honestly can't remember the last time I had anyone sit in my rear seats? Last June maybe?

HKPRO5, can you post some more interior pics? I really dig your car and want to see what kid of setup you've got going on. Or post a link if you don't want to post pics. Thanks in advance.

try looking into this Second Skin

It works wonders for vibration and sound deadening

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Oh for crying out loud... Nitpicking bastards. Let me rephrase myself then, "I understand that my application is not a race car for it is daily driven on public roads and sees very little, if any, track time thus ruling it not a race car. However I do enjoy the appeal of a racecar look and interior and believe in function over fashion. So if it isn't functional I might as well get rid of it. Therefor I would like to remove my rear seats to loose weight, as little as it may be, and achieve more of a racecar interior simply for looks. I love racecars and their interior and I would simply like to apply a racecar look with functionality of a daily driven vehicle on public roads." ;)

That P5 is the sex though. I used to love those races on Speed back in the day.

Hey, I was just trying to help you out, and shut up some of the guys saying that there's something wrong w/ a P5 race car.

I won't make that mistake again....

i need some cheese with all of this whining.

and i was just saying... that your daily driven p5 isnt a race car.

not that there arent some out there that are.

basically, you can do what you want, but the back looks ugly without the seats. wanna see?

There's no point anyways, because the rear seats don't even weigh that much...

Lol...I know...just messing...mine are welded in anyways, so they aren't coming out...the stockers are nothing more than a few big pillows...not much to them...

Thanks for the pics, Rockin. That's what I plan on doing to the rear, but keeping the molding etc. And I know my P5 isn't a race car. I said that like 3 times already.

I've got a full set (front and rear) of leather CatSkinz that I would sell that would fund the new racing seats up front, that's why I would just get rid of all my leather seats. It's easier than trading someone, they could just buy them and swap them themselves and keep their cloth seats. And I find racing seats MUCH more comfortable for daily driving.

So if anyone local-ish wants to buy my seats, let me know. Heh-heh

Alright, I'm done ranting now. Moving on.
