What have you done to your P5 today?

the rear seats would help a lot.... and other than that, maybe everything from the seats back, like the hatch plastic/carpet and you should be good to go

Used mine yesterday to haul my road bike to where I was riding. Normally I'd just ride to the trail where I commonly ride, but i was meeting a friend.

Front cross bar is in the garage. I was going to fab up a way to mount a bike rack to it that doesn't belong on it, but it's probably not worth it and gave up. Do you happen to have the roof rack caps? That's probably the only way I'd get rid of mine is to get a set of the caps.
 
I don't...lol...I am going to try and bend mine back, but have looked for a replacement...Yakima has a rack right under $100 that goes on the factory racks...fits great...also if you are interested I have adaptors for the stock rack in my FS thread to put Thule/Yakima racks on top...

Lol...I wish...you still have the cage...I want to buy it from you...I have a spare trunk reinforcement bar...it is orange...
 
Yea I actually do have it. The reinforcement bar I put on for s**** and giggles and the links have been chillin in my basement since you sent them. I'll definitely sell you the links if you want em. They're still yellow too cause I haven't touched them.
 
I don't feel like making a Looking For ad so I will just ask for help in here, I have been looking for an MSP to replace my P5 since I wrecked it and I haven't had much luck. I was going to go to Tennessee Thursday to look at a laser blue 03.5 but yesterday the seller called to inform me he can't sell it, I have been to houston to look at an overpriced and ragged out spicy orange 03 and i'm considering going to oklahoma to look at a silver one but the seller wont respond.

So i'm asking from my Mazda Familia, does anyone know of any clean MSPs for sale? Preferably all original or lightly modded cars with less than 70k miles and under 9k?
I really want to get another Mazda but if I can't find one i'm gonna have to get something else.

Yep that's pretty much the concept lol. I try to go things so that I can drive
it evereyday (with out passesgers complaining)(ie the wife) but when I hit pit the autox I can fully enjoy what I have pit into the car.

Also things like the the doors give me something to do (that's car related) on my off time. As for the "race car p5" I know it's not a race car. But when I get better times than some of the guys that drive evos and stis it's even more fun to drive.
 
Aww s***, I should've posted in bold "I know it's not a race car" before all the Miata guys came in. haha!

I just meant the looks and what not. I know MY P5 is not a race car and will see minimal track/auto-x time. I just meant that the interior look. I don't want to remove the carpet and plastic moulding fromthe rear because I have a nice stereo with a small powered sub and I don't want to loose the acoustic treatment of the carpet and plastic molding. My stripped out civic sounded like ass in the cabin, even after I sprayed it all with truck bedliner. I was just thinking outloud if I sold my leather Catskins and bought two racing seats and got rid of the rear seats, thats all. I know I won't loose much weight, but I honestly can't remember the last time I had anyone sit in my rear seats? Last June maybe?

HKPRO5, can you post some more interior pics? I really dig your car and want to see what kid of setup you've got going on. Or post a link if you don't want to post pics. Thanks in advance.
