if you paranoid, try 35% all the way around. Nice n dark in low light, just enough tint during the day, but wit direct sunlight cops usually leave you alone (if front seat window tint is illegal in your state)...

yea i got 18 in the back 35 on the front and its plenty dark.

the current law in RI is 70% on all windows, with exception of suv's, van's or trucks, for thier back windows. so its baiscally no tint at all and not worth me doing it. i wish i could..

laws here are no film on the front windows, you can paint the rears if you want....

I have to get one of those splitters. Then figure out how to train the wife to keep her from destroying it on the driveway or a curb. Based on her past performance (as shown by the bottom of the factory lip on my Protege) I don't think I'll have much luck.

Better off going with like 35 in front and 15 in the back. Puts a contrast on the car and makes it look lighter

So, here's the good news. Paperwork is enroute for my MS6! So I should be a proud owner very, very soon.
Going to have it registered in 'Bama...so that just like the Miata...no emissions...no tint law etc etc. lol...FTW!

other than that - just WeatherTech mats and trunk liner - sort of a necessity in the Pacific Northwest - especially with the kids'(yes, multiple kids) muddy soccer and baseball cleats (spin)

Thinking about window tint next.

Nolig - Can you provide some pics and more detail? I just picked up a 09 i SV, and was trying to figure out what would be the best bet for remote and alarm, since there are power locks, but no remote/alarm installed. Not sure why Mazda would do this, as just about every car I've seen comes with these features standard!

i used a prestige $90 alarm that i pulled from another one of my cars
i used the car horn as the alarm horn
power door lock require wiring in a diode i think to allow for lock and unlock.
trunk opens with remote too.
doors lock themselves when moving and unlock when key is removed (all from alarm)
windows roll down too by hitting the unlock button 3x, no special wiring for this.

i have not yet wired the actual starting wires as i havent looked for the tachometer wire that i need to tap into

Put a lead shim on my positive battery post... Battery seems to be ok, but the collar wasn't tightening down on post... something needs replacing, but hopefully this shim will keep things good for a while

Yessir. Also, the county I come from doesn't do any kind of emissions.. s*** you can run catless, exhaustless, and/or have your s*** on fire rolling down the road and the cops won't bat an eye.
