lets have a vote.. and when its all said and done see who was right.. feel free to say why you voted the way you did..

LeBron James may be the best player in the NBA, but there are two huge factors that go into winning and NBA Championship, 1. A great team and 2. an outstanding Star on that great team. With Cleveland there was only the outstanding star, without Lebron playing on many occasions it looked as if the Cav's could've been beaten by a High School Girls team. As Bill Simmons said, the team was "basically LeBron and the LeBronettes". James going to the Knicks would essentially be no different that staying in Cleveland; there is no cushion for the team to fall on if James is playing to his usual par. He wont sign with Miami because he wont want to ride someone else's train to fame. The Best place for LeBron James to go and win NBA titles is the Chicago Bulls. Now i know it might seem biased for me to say this as I am from Chicago, but there is plenty of logic to this madness. The set up of James, Rose, and Noah seems it could be unstoppable. With Rose there to help take some of the pressure of James with both the ability to shoot AND drive to the hoop and score, and Noah averaging 11 rebounds per game. That leaves James to do what he does best, and when he has an off day, maybe only 27 pts, 10 ast, and 19 reb, (games 6 against the celtics) he will have strong support from his two wingmen. This is the best possible fit for James to win NBA Championships.

Just my thoughts on this one, hope you enjoy

LeBron want to be a billionaire and he can't do that in Cleveland, its to small a market. He has wanted to bring his hometown a championship all by himself and it just won't happen. No one is that good. In NY he can still try to win it all by himself AND expand his brand or he can go the Chicago, probably three-peat, become a billionaire, and still live in Jordan's enormous shadow. If he doesn't stay in Cleveland, they will win maybe 30 games and disappear from relevance. Hired gun Shaq will go where the $ is, possibly NY if LeBron goes there. Any way you slice it, I think he is the most talented poor-sport egomaniacal baby in the NBA, well next to Kobe.

Go Magic!

I'm so tired of hearing about it already. He can go play overseas for all I care.

He's just another multimillion dollar athlete whose only education is a joke of a high school degree. His next contract will be more than he deserves.

I can't stand the NBA anyway. I prefer college hoops.

I think he'll go to Chicago for pretty much the same reasons as Duha stated.

I totally disagree. Unlike Kobe or any of the other big NBA stars, he appears to be a respectable public figure. So what if he only has a highschool degree? And more than he deserves? He's the best player in the NBA and is compensated accordingly. Now don't get on that soap box of "pro sports players get paid to much, blah blah blah".

i agree i hope he comes to chicago. id love to see him here. and i do agree he makes an uncanny amount of money, but good for him. if it was given to me i wouldnt turn it down. but he is also NOT a troublemaker like alot of these nfl guys. you dont hear about him in shootings or out partying till 5 am. all you hear about is how he plays basketball and thats it. thats the kinda player id like in chicago.

I think if the celtics were smart they would grab him.let go of pierce...but I still like pierce but he's too inconsistent IMO. But I don't think they will pay him enough. Doesn't jay-z own one of the NY teams? If so he could afford lebron...and I also heard d.wade said he will go to any team lebron goes to cause he wants a championship of his own. Iono man. We will see.

Don't forget about Bosh. He's part of the rumor, too. Knicks may be stacked next year... ;)

Voted Bulls for two reasons 1) what duha said as it all makes perfect sense and 2) I'm a Bulls fan :D

I've heard people saying that he won't go to Chicago for the simple reason that he doesn't want to be in MJ's shadow. He already is and will be no matter where he goes. While the shadow will be bigger in Chicago it also offers him the best oppurtunity to win multiple championships vs being in the shadow somewhere else and not winning....which will get him even greater criticism.

there are the rumors thats why he is getting rid of jersey #23 next year and changing to 6...wade already has a ring of his own....bosh is not a good as people think he is imo. and if ur talking about the celtics. id get rid of garnett b4 peirce. garnett has missed more games due to injury then the other 2 superstars. and talking about jay z i think he owns a D-league team not a nba team.

best athlete in the word...albert pujols...shawn white....troy palumalu....usain bolt

He is coming to chicago, and the blackhawks are winning the stanley cup this year.

and the Cubbies are winning the World Series! C'mon Santos...one at a time.... lol

no, sadly, that team will never win a championship in my lifetime. The clippers will win an NBA championship before the cubs win a WS.

i was waiting for you to see this thread santos. i agree, the clippers will win in the nba b4 the cubs.

yeah, 2 months ago, no talk and it was slim to none on getting james, thanks to the celtics, it may become a reality now. that would be awesome.
