This is what my stock wheels looked like when i had them. I had to dig deep into my photobucket to find these pics..lol

scuffed them up real well, then i applied 3-4 light coats of paint. Then applied 2 light coats of metallic clear. I bought all the paint at advanced auto.

2 cans of high temp gold(looks bronze though)
1 can of metallic clear (made for wheels)
1 multi pack of sandpaper

where did you find the mazdaspeed decals? that looks hella sick!!!

sweet! Anyone up for a spark show at night? Just stomp the skinny pedal into submission and watch for the light show! Ghetto F&F... drifting H3 comes complete with sparks from the rear wheels while drifting for that ultra cool video game effect.(rlaugh) And if its 4wd it mad tight yo! 4wd spark show!

I just ordered some of those decals on ebay. Think I paid 12 bucks for 4 of them.
Gonna do them in black on my stock rims.. should be nice I hope.

And yes, I shamelessly stole the idea from you Strick

FDs, stripped to bare alumnium and clearcoated. Centercaps painted semi-gloss black because the factory finish was long gone. Gives a nice satin look. (Pardon the HDR tag in the pic)

Here's my mazda3 rims. Rustoleum pure gold spray paint. Had to put 25mm spacers to get it flush with the pro5 (rolled) fenders

to be honest, I dont love em on the MPS. I think the stock racing harts are better suited for that car. That said, I LOVE the FD wheels on an FD

in some ways, I absolutely agree. but shedding 25lbs worth of wheels, getting more sidewall, and an extra inch of width is well more than worth it to me. Plus, the 245 rubber just looks mean.
