Missing my MS3 :(

Look at the 5th photo (looking down at the engine compartment).
Everything is tweaked.
Especially notice the strut towers (and the braces).

look at the last photo, notice that the eye of the camera is directly in line with the tmic shroud/engine. then look at the angle of the rest of the car

Well those 2 frames next to the tranny, one by each side (not really sure what there called) are bent and both need to be replaced. I think they said that each one is like $1,000. The bodyshop manager was saying that 1 did needed to be replaced and that the other one he could bend back. But I really wouldnt trust that thing if I were to get in another accident. Another reason why I decided for them to have it a total loss.
Im still not sure what im gonna get. I still have my 96' Honda and going to be driving that for a while. I just have to go back to the old days cuz that thing is practically on the floor. Mmmmm...maybe I can find another good but inexpensive 2008-2009 MS3...Sti..Evo..fairly new Civic Si..a good looking Audi..but i still dont decide

Sorry dude cant part it out. Same exact thing I thought when i kinda figured that it was gonna be totaled. But since I owe more than what its worth, the insurance takes the car because they pay it off to my lien holder. I couldnt even take off my H&R springs. The only thing I took off were my Hid's for the headlights and foglights. Ill sell you the stock springs haha

wow...sorry to hear about your mazda..sucks when people try to beat red lights and ends up doing this to others. Good luck on finding another ride.

Not to try and discourage you from getting another MS3 or anything but have you looked into the 370z, EVO X GSR or Gen Coupe? They're about 5-7k more but maybe you could swing it or pick up a certified used one for about the cost of a new MS3? Just something I would be thinking about if I were in a similar situation. But it's not like you can go wrong with the MS3. Either way good luck
I have seen the 370z and the Evo X but there just too expensive for me right now. I havent really looked at the Genesis Coupe but that might be a good option
I really dont want to be paying a car thats worth 17,000 but I have to pay 29,000 cuz of the interest and all that good stuff. I want to find a 07-09 MS3, 04-06 Evo 8 or 9, 04-07 Sti or something else in that category. I want a car that already depreciated that big chunk of money from when it drove off the dealer. Looking from $14,000 to $20,000 max for a car...I just need to wait till my case ends to see how much money im getting, if i get any money lol
