What have you done to your MSP today?

I can't really speak for the shop except that I had my headunit installed there and they did a nice job but that's completely different than performance parts so who knows.

this is true.

if you launch in a higher gear, it might yield better times...like 2nd gear.

same goes for miguel.. if he gets a custom gear ratio, he will have a better chance especially if they design the gears for launching the fwd.

i'll haveta try that next time i'm at the track... but i prefer road coarse myself lots more fun the moutains here are great

went to pep boys to pick up the little platic tabs that hold interior peices in place, waiting on the reain to pass over so i can get to work on the trunk cage

question, i do have the clunk and i need to fix that, but i have a bad squeek cooming from strut or spring or something, any ideas on what this is, it needs fixed its awfull. lol

Check your sway bar endlinks, sway bar bushings, strut mounts. (I would do it in that order...)

if the end links or bushings are broken is it obvious? or do they need lubricated? i can look i just dont know what i am looking for to fix i guess...

Endlinks are obvious, they will be all loose booty and not holding s***. That's the clunk usually. As far as bushings, I would suggest simply upgrading to urethane bushings, and never turning back. I use urethane bushings and currently have oem endlinks on my rear swaybar and i get no clunk, no squeak, nada... White lithium grease fixes any minor creaks/squeaks you may have anyways. Next time I switch endlinks I'm going with shorter adjustables tho, most likely. But only to get the pre-load on the swaybar better, i.e. horizontal with the road. I would like to do the clunk fix, but it's not worth the $200, to me since I don't have any clunk issues anyways. lol

ok how much will endlinks and eurathane bushings run me? and where should i order them from? thanks for the help

I was thinking about switching to these at some point:

Relatively cheap when compared to AWR adjustable's for $190, lol. I got my OEM endlinks for $75, but they normally run ~$25 ea.

For Urethane bushings, Protege Garage used to carry them, but Idk if they still do and shipping is kinda slow... I'll PM u to keep the thread on topic.

well when i had a internal wg i used the lil clamps the sell at any parts store or zip ties will work too haha just keep n eye on emm they tend to break

I wouldn't trust a zip tie for very long with something like that... They work as a quick fix, but not long term.

i recommend these

I got some hose clamps like the ones posted above but they are standard size and none of them fit. Where can I get some in metric size?
