funny coincidence. the book i'm reading ("The Charlemagne Pursuit") partly takes place there. i was reading about it over the weekend in the book then went and checked out the website. looks fun

Today is the first day of my transition into a non-military life. I am just now figuring out what my benefits will be as a veteran and translating my military skills into a marketable job resume. This will be a fun week because I'll be doing mock interviews with a couple representatives from the CT DOL. There is a LOT of info I am having thrown at me this week, but so totally worth it.

what types of skills do you have? we hire a lot of former military people. what we do is 10000000000x more boring than anything you probably did in the military but it's a job
