What have you done to your P5 today?

i miss when scc was 350 pages of "do this to your mazda. and if you have a honda we'll throw in a feature in the middle"
and it had tech articles, and diy, and tuning, and all kinds of incredible things

see thats why i love grassroots...they have a simple answer for everything, Miata

I know a guy that would laugh at your face for saying that. Like Korey said, it's easier & safer, but when done right, I've seen the results of high compression and boost, and it's scary F-ing fast (and generally yields a pretty flat torque curve)

While you are correct, that's certainly not the norm.

what could be the vibrating sound coming from my car since my magnaflow was put on. around 3k rpm and some points lower and higher there is some sort of vibration metal/metal sound that is somewhat annoying. not sure what it could be. any thoughts???

ditto, probably the heat shield where the shifter is. that was my issue and a few other peoples. i ripped mine out. fastest way to take care of it

its fine to just not run a heatshield? i never did on my civic but didnt know if its fine to do on the p5 also

i havent had mine for over a year now and havent had an issue with anything at all. center counsel does heat up on hot days while in traffic after driving for a long time, but its nothing i've ever been concerned about though

New brake rotors ordered. Ceramic pads already here. Two new tires being ordered asap.

Plan is to bleed all the brakes and replace rotors and pads. Then replace the worn front tires (back ones are more than fine).

Nah. And I drove around for 6 months without a proper alignment on the front. College sucks money from ya in many different ways.

Well hopefully it'll all pay off in the end lol. Can't wait to have time to actually work on the car again. That's still a year and a half away though.
