What have you done to your MS3 today?

18x8.5" +48...5mm spacers on front. I was rubbin' on way back from the tire shop, so I took the rear spacers off. I hammered the tabs where the bumper bolts to the fender, so that might have fixed the problem, but I didn't try it with the spacers after. I HATE hearing the rubbing noise.

yea i know, i ended up taking a dremmel to that area and grinding it all down, now i rub the black plastic within the fenderwell, but i need to fully compress the suspension and hit the bumpstops for that to happen

Over the weekend wrapped the center console (cupholder area and around the stick shifter) in 3M Carbonfiber vinyl. Also did the door sills where the aluminum Mazdaspeed logo is. Will slowly work my way up over the ashtray toward the radio.

My friend just did this to his Subaru. It turned out really nice. Post pics! :)

MM BOOST, s*** is looking good! can't wait to see more photos...

Thanks man, I freakin' love the look. The picture I posted is from a cell phone and it makes the color look flat/dull. In person or in the sun, the color looks like its wet and has extreme metallic. I love it. I can't wait to get better pictures posted up. The stance is superb.

Alright just a preview picture for now. I installed:

-235/40/18 falken rt-615's on 18x8.5" rota svn's powdercoated a mixture between volk's magnesium blue and blue ice explosion
-muteki neo-chrome lugs
-g2 black calipers with white stoptech decals
-partplaza carbon fiber hood lifts
-jbarone shift weight with engine dress up kit
-redline goods shift, e-brake and arm rest boots to match factory interior
-progress rear sway bar on stiffest setting
-awr endlinks
-fixed glove box rattle
-switched to motocraft tranny fluid

I still have to install my semi-gloss black nextmod spoiler lip and mirror covers, and remove the rear wiper and replace with black honda plug that should be here today. I have a few other odds and ends to tie up this week before I get some really good pictures.

Here is the only picture for now (this picture was before anything else but the wheels were installed. I left from the transmission fluid change to head to my friend's garage to install all the parts listed above. I had to remove the wheels again when I got there):

My knuckles are skinned up and I have a sore neck, but I am beyond happy with how the car came out. The handling on the car now is phenomenal. Handles like it is on rails. And the transmission is so much more smooth with the new fluid and counter-weight. Car feels so much more solid now. These came out with a little more blue in the color than Volk's magnesium blue, but I believe it was the right decision, 'cause the color would have looked more purple on mine. Everyone that has seen them has had nothing but positive things to say and they have turned some heads for sure. I am thoroughly pleased and I will be getting some stuff under the hood powdercoated from him hopefully this summer.

man those looks good, need to get some pics from the guy who took the first ones on your build thread.

That was just a cell phone pic, I will get some better pics after I finish up the car this week. Thanks man. I can't wait for ya'll to see them in sunlight. Its completely different lol. It's pretty wild looking.

I wish I had more exciting stuff to post... but a replacing the wiper blades for a nice clear view was the extent of my modding this past weekend. That and replacing some defective yellow foglight bulbs that lasted only a month ($26 down the drain).

Taking the car for a good mountain road flogging was the high point of the weekend though.
