I want it this low with coil overs. Maybe do the hood like the grill. Matched with a black roof.

that looks pretty sick but whether it would look good actually done is the question. the photoshop makes it look good.

I'm not sure. I've seen a few 6's with 2-tone scheme and it can look good, but I think it is more suited to a show car and looks a little much for the street. Just my $0.02.

I know how you get the itch to just do SOMETHING when mods have been static for a while, just make sure if you do it, you're doing it because YOU really like it, and not just for the sake of doing something. I bet these guys started out with reasonably normal mods too...

Qwik, is that the CF grille or the Speedline/Nextmod ABS one? I can't tell from your pictures. If it's CF, here's a crazy little idea:

I'm going to qualify this by saying that I normally think that painting carbon fiber is really stupid. However, what if you picked up a CF hood and painted the edges white? It would look just like your PhotoShop mockup, but the center would be carbon fiber to match the grille, instead of black. I think that would be neat.

Installed some of many interior LED's. Dumb ass me forgot to disconnect the battery and blew a fuse, one of those little 15amps that I can't find anywhere.

I didnt think this would happen I replaced all the interior LED's and the License plate lights with out disconnecting the battery and i was 100% fine.

Idn, see if you can photo shop the bottom of the front bumper to be black like the newer EVO's.. i have no idea what it would look like. Just a thought.

wheel update!

after talking to tenzo directly several times, they "magicly" found a set of wheels for me... claiming that my dealer gave them the OK, they were to have them air mailed to the canadian supplier, of course he did not ok that, because i, the customer, dont want to be billed a couple hundred more dollars just to recieve my wheels sooner

anyways... i'm not overly worried... i just want my wheels, my dealer is stressed to the max, cause he scared to get a huge bill for the rush shipping that wasnt supposed to happen..

we will see what happens, but it looks like i'll be in the show sitting on my new wheels

If it were me however? No, hell no i wouldnt. Streetwise that car looks super slick as it is.
then again, im biased... i have more of a "less is more" kind of taste style.

yo qwik... maybe do something like this for the hood, the "mazdaspeed" on the "lines" of the hood(i dont really like the car, just the only pic i could find for what im talking about)

That's my hangup...I think the unibody stripe would be very ricey. I dunno.....I'm with the guy who said less is more.

I did the black hood center on my Protege. I thought it was just enough to look different than the usual. I wanted to do a CF hood, then inlay the MS font on the drivers corner above the headlight, then paint over it, but never got around to it.

For my old car, search for MikeLikesMazda. He has it now.

It was just an idea I always had. Not something I would probably do. No way I am dropping 1200 for a hood and then painting it. Plus the lines on the hood dont exactly line up perfect with the grill. It looks too forced and over done.
