What have you done to your P5 today?

They won't...they aren't aloud to mess with them...already tried...and I am extremely good friends with the guys at the dealership...

im trying to figure out why my car is only getting 9 miles a gallon... with a pretty stock setup...

mods are
626 manifold W/ nsn spacer
stock head
stock ms turbo manifol
3'' exhaust
3'' down pipe
Front mount IC
short ram intake
msp ecu
walbro fuel pump
Nology wires=
E3 plugs factory ungaable at .40
boost is at about 5psi...
EGR disconnected and plugged... ( maybe this is the issue? )
maybe a vac leak? cruis eisnt hooked up... but i am stumped.... when i was running NA it was fine... upwards of 34mpg... not this 9mpg bulls***... with 17 on the freeway

Holy hell ^ yah something aint right. @ that low of boost without alot of hard driving you should still be in the 20's.

You need a tune.

You need a tune.

matt please stop saying i need a tune... being STOCK boosted shouldnt need a tune to have DECENT gas milage.. at the least.... i realize that i need to tune my setup.... but i cant afford it... i dont have the money for dyno time...

You aren't exactly stock. Maybe try hooking up your EGR again and see where that takes you.

Remember, stock ECU doesn't mean anything. Each car reacts differently to turbo setups.

you aren't stock. by any means. your exhaust is different, manifold, intercooler, fuel etc.

get an afc or something. WHICH will be somewhat of a tune. to begin with. Matt is correct. dont be like other members, asking questions, getting the correct answers, and not using the information. if you can't pay, dont pay. you know that man.

I think the biggest difference there is the Walbro fuel pump. I know almost everytime you install one a tune of some sort needs to be done.

You MUST pay to play. If you can't afford the spending that comes along with turbo Josh, its time to uninstall and have a normal car.

but seriously 9mpg? thats ****** nuts

plug your EGR back in, it doesnt have to be on the manifold just plug it in, cuz im sure you have a CEL right now
WHICH would mean your car is in open loop 24/7

ok ok ok.... so dont get the reflash... and use the emanage i have for now? ( its better then nothing... ) maybe i can drop the pump out...

and try to get it back to stock.... even when it was stock with a side mount, and just the turbo with stock exhaust i had horrible milage... idk why my car doesnt like turbo...

WAIT..... would the one way vlave ( i think it is called a pvc valve) have anything to do with it?
