BYE BYE! bent rod, yup in traffic coming from a slow crawl easing on the throttle and at about about 55mph, thud! powers cuts, car starts bucking then clunking. pull over and the clunking coming from the motors is hideous.. sounds exactly like a bend rod.


as some know Ive been having "issues" with my car as of late and have been trying to get the problem fixed with the tuner from race roots, so he eased up the tune a bit an said i should be fine driving the car. well, i guess not. hopefully the motor is still in good enough shape to still go about building it.


no fluids coming out so as of now the block its self isn't ******. time to rip it apart and see what exactly is up..

If you are not having issues like OP then you have nothing to worry about. OP, sorry for your motor going out. I can only imagine what you are going through right now. Hope you get it fix and driving soon. You have warranty?

you should be fine, i have a lot of mods on this car and that mixed with a shotty tune is what did it in.

yes, car is still under warranty, i just have to pull every mod off and try and take it in (gah)

have you dealt with race roots before?? talked to them at all?? race roots is a good company. brice is a solid guy. as is scott, this has nothing to do with either of them or race roots as a company at all.
