What have you done to your P5 today?

It wasn't to difficult. But very time consuming. Total hours I would say at least 10. That includes painting, cutting, fitting, and installing. I still have to aim them though. About six more hours till the sun goes down. I'll be sure to take a few pics tonight and tomorrow after work.

Awesome! Aiming was definitely the longest part of the process for me.

depends on how much you'd want for them.

and i thought about how scratch is on his stock struts and considered doing that. when my endlinks come in this week, if it fixes my knocking maybe ill get springs and lower on stock struts. if the sound is still there ill prob have to replace some struts and keep it stock height

You may need new front sway bushings also, depending on what type of knocking you're getting.

2 hours after I started I got my Headlight and Foglight HIDs completely installed and working.

Headlights are DDM Slim Ballast 4300K 35W
Foglights are DDM Slim Ballast 3000K 35W

So sick so far...driving with incredible vision rocks my socks!

Injen CAI has dropped my MPG on last tank, but I have been wailing on it quite a bit. Next up, rear brakes!

one step at a time here, haha. had the knock for a while and think its end links. next may be bushings, then struts if the end links arent the solution

Mine were the same way, but the screws are plenty long to adjust with.

:( blah
i think i adjusted them to shoot as low as possible but they are still too high... probably going to have to open up the housing again and adjust... anyhow here are some pics... it's still not night time here yet so no night shots

I don't much care for the audi eye lid thing on our cars but the s*** looks dope. The 3m cf in the headlight is ******* bananaz!

What kind of knock is it? Constant/rhythmic? Or only over bumps/turns or what?

over bumps or inconsistencies in the road, doent matter the size. will also knock if i jerk the wheel back and forth while driving, even when going real slow. brought it a shop and they were able to get a small bit of sound from the endlink when they fiddled with it.

Ya that def sounds like just endlinks.

Saw you guys talking about it, so I will confirm it...I have been on stock struts now with the S-Techs for a little over a year now...almost 50,000 miles...not to mention I don't think they have ever been changed...I assume that when I got the car with 38,000 miles they weren't...
