i know lighter is better, but you're only saving about 12lbs or so total...is that enough to make a noticeable difference?

and are lighter weight wheels going to be more easily damaged from potholes and such compared to heavier ones?

these are serious questions...just want to learn is all! :)

With wheels every pound makes a big difference. That is because when put in motion this becomes rotating mass or "sprung weight". As opposed to adding a sub or something which only adds "unsprung weight." The sub isn't any part of any rotating mass of the vehicle, so it's added girth isn't intensified when it is spun around at hundreds-thousands of RPMS like wheels are.

Well, I went from 17" to 15", so more tire equals MUCH better ride. Those stock 17" MSM wheels are WAY too big. Plus the stock Racing Hart wheels are known to be bent easily because of the small amount of sidewall in the tire.

TRMotorsports are good quality rims. With a very sturdy design. I doubt I will have any troubles with these. Plus, I really wanted some black rims with a smaller offset.

alright, alright, that makes sense! and i do really like the black rims! they go well with any color car!

now what about a difference in cornering or handling? i was always told that a thiner side wall was better for a quicker steering response...

but how much does the whole setup weigh? you may not have lost that much weight at all if your tires are heavier
