TPMS Questions

I fill mine with Hydrogen. It makes my rotating mass 2lb lighter. Only thing that sucks is if I ever have a blowout, I'll go up like the Hindenburg.

My TPMS DL comes on when temps are in the low teens or below. which, at those temperatures, just adds to the already awesome symphonic noises of two balloon animals humping which comes from the suspension when I go over bumps. Old man winter can suck it.

only natural because as temp goes down so does psi. i think it's like 1 psi for every 10 degrees as a general rule, or i might be thinking about hp and temp

either way the tire pressure will increase during driving and should eventually shut the light off. just check the pressures anyway

Thanks, but I was more referring to elaboration on his implication that nitrogen for your tires isn't a ripoff (unless of course I'm mis-reading his implied statement).

it's like the difference between drinking tap water or buying a filter to use in conjunction with your tap

on one hand with filtered water you know it's good for you and there are no impurities. but of course you have to periodically buy another filter

with tap water you might bet some grissle or bad taste, but its water nonetheless

so, would you rather pay somebody to fill up your tires with stuff you also have to pay for, or use a compressor and pressure gauge to maintain it yourself?

personally, i can fill up my own tires for free and feel like i'd be shoving my own fist up my ass if i paid for someone else to do it, regardless of it being air or nitrogen or gold bars

My car is at dealer right now, TPMS light goes off yet all tires are at 34-38psi. Dealer says they can't fix because it doesn't throw an error code... BS!!!
