so gary, if you just heard fire trucks, it is because some asshole doing work in the building next door to my training center snipped a wire going to the fire alarm and evacuated our building.

lol...I'm actually out in the field today, at an office building on the other side of town (Bloomfield/West Hartford line)

Funny you should mention that though...yesterday one of the guys here (where I am today) was doing some electrical work. The head maintenance guy told them that the power had been shut off last night...so the worker snips a 1/2-inch thick power cable and blows the power to about 25% of the office building (It's a BIG building). Luckily the guy was wearing rubber gloves and using a rubber-handled wire cutter. He got one hell of a shock but was fine otherwise.

So then of course the company tried blaming us for their offices losing power.

Tomorrow morning will be playing squash for the 1st time in 20 years. Then it's off to Bangor ME to collect the oldest daughter and bring her home for a week.

New mats came in for the Miata and also brake caliper paint.
