Any photographers in here?

I agree, but I have a bad habit of not remembering to refocus when I move... Plus my eyes are terrible. focusing for me is trying to decide when the view through the camera is the least amount of blurry.

I did that. Actually, I was pretty much changing those every time I moved... Sometimes I find that the 50mm just misses focus. That's why I try to take at least 3 pictures of everything with that lens. Insurance.

+1. from what I've read the MkII is worse the the MkI, and mine does it from time to time.

I haven't experienced missed focus w/ my new mkII 50mm. Good walk around lens for now until I get my 24-70 back.

And in fact, as i was typing, I got the call my lens is back!!! woot!

yeah i hear a lotta ppl with focusing issues with the 50mm 1.8, i think its just a bad copy of the lens

Hey if you don't like it take them off. Just because I don't have a $700-$2000 camera I can't take as good of a pic as everyone else but what ever I guess.
its not about the equipment. altspace is a great example of what can be done... and I still don't have quite $700 into my kit. I'm not trying to be a snot, but theres a difference between a snapshot, and photography. like most things in life, its the operator, not the equipment that makes the greatest difference.
