*blows off MazdaForums dust

i agree on the clutch and stalling. i rarely stall my stick shift offroad truck even when winching through off camber areas. When i test drove my ms6, i stalled it twice b/f out of the parking lot, so red in the cheeks.
Like you guys, out of all he diff vehicles ive had the priv to drive, the ms6 has the wierdest clutch. (never driven the cts though)

The V has dual mass flywheel for old man legs...makes it easy to engage...but the shifter was a total abortion. Totally disconnected from the car before I changed it out.

Already miss it. :(

Back the MS6, I've got random alarm going off issues. WTH?

Reading the what to do first thread is the motor mount a must in these cars? And is the AP basically worthless without mods? I must resist modding but damn this car is fun.

Motor mount is a very useful mod. Have it done to my ride, you will notice the difference right away.
As for the AP it will open the car up to its full potential even stock. I have it done on my stock ride and dynoed it at MACHV both before and after the reflash... Picked up 81HP at 6000rpm in 4th gear just with the reflash!!! Thats due to it holding boost to redile vs tapering off from the factory.
If your ever in the area and want to go for a ride let me know....

VRMS6 i know you work for mazda and my dealership wants $250 just to install the MSCAI.. would you or your shop be able to hook it up for any cheaper.. cuz i think $250 is rediculious however i will do it to gain some power and cool noises lol and to keep my warranty.

Labor runs $199.00 total no shop supplies or tax as its labor only....

Welcome back. I noticed the name and the name change request...you a proctologist?

So the engine mount is a pain? Looks like it sits on top and easy to switch out. I think I would like to be in that $1000 range fog mods. Hit me up.

Engine mount is 2 bolts and a breeze to install... Helps that I have access to a lift and any tool known to man... Ap,test pipe, motor mount and a good tune would be my recommendations... Easily dooable for your budget especially if you can get the parts lightly used....

2006 model?? If so the TSB for the clunk noise is still covered for ya...Bring it to the nearest dealer for repair...

Best place to buy? Mount (which one? both?)? I see the RPMstore has a nice selection.

Also is the AP worth $500 used?
