Drove my Civic today. It's so much fun driving a car that makes soooo much damn noise, and is relatively quick. I can't wait till I can work on that car some more.

long day today...in the office till 12 (hour meeting @ 11) then driving to Staples and working 1-9:30 there...uhg!

Meeting at 9am tomorrow with a client in Melrose, then Staples till 4, then PACKING! UHG!

At least Ry is going to get his brother from across state to help with the move...and I have a 4 day weekend this week

Rear end kicked out a little as i was merging onto 128. Felt just like turn 1 at F1-boston for a second and then i got it back on track. Forgot that snow tires don't corner so well in the wet. Boosting in 3rd gear prolly wasn't helping either.

I beg to differ. Back when I had V1.0 of my car (the Probe) I had the winter performance Goodyear Eagle tires on (whatever they're called).

They cornered great in wet conditions...

Orly? We should put our collective minds together. I need to figure out what to do to mine so that I can use it for Auto-X.


And before anyone says anything. Yes, I know I have a Miata, and I know they're awesome for Auto-X... but I got a parts quote for the transmission and I don't want to break it again.

$880 for parts to rebuild it. JUST parts. Looks like it's gonna be a 5 speed for a little while longer.

Might have been a patch of black ice then. I don't usually notice that I'm on winter tires...unless its snowing, and then its pretty obvious that I have way more traction than everyone else.

Despite what I said yesterday about the rain, I went out and took some pics anyway. Took 'em on the way to get lunch and I was really hungry so I took 'em quickly.

Not doing anything today. Actually it's my mother's b'day so I gotta run out and get her a card/gift before she gets home from work. That's all. I'm boring. OMG, I can get Arby's....freaking YUM!

Spoke to soon about the deck, have to return it! Keeps switching from ipod to dvd to radio and back to dvd without me touching anythin. Any suggestions? Think I might get the Pioneer one with the gps, or maybe just a reg sing din, with ipod control.

That's not how my luck works tho. Matter of fact, I spotted a small puddle under it last night. Car hasn't moved in weeks. WTF?
