Aftermarket radiators

if it's just that little, why do they need new brackets? i'd say the difference is like over at least an inch.

25mm = 2.5 cm = .98" lol

an inch is plenty, as the MSP brackets will totally miss the P5 locating studs.

My questions are about the height and whether they will:
a) go with the 325mm height of the P5 and sedan in order to accomodate the plastic snorkel of the stock intake system
b) go with the 350mm height of the MSP which would suit any MSP's that use a FMIC and any P5s or sedans that use a CAI or SRI.

i'd prefer the msp height, but i'm sure i can make the other work

MSP height would be Ideal, I would like to gut my Stock SMIC without any fitment issue. I'm sure there are others looking for this also, is there any way to get some fans in the deal? It would be nice to just replace all of it and be done.:)

I suggested this a couple pages ago. Several people were up for it. Hopfully with enough intrest it will happen.

At this time it looks like it will be similar to the MSP height and similar to the P5 /sedan width. Final details are still being worked out.

I would like to include fans bit that definitely adds cost. It will probably be an option with natural upcost

Everyone have a safe and Happy New Years!!(beer)

excellent news!get a dual pass!

Are you confusing a dual pass with double or triple core?

Dual pass radiators have a plate welded into the center of the core that forces the water to take a path around it to effectively pass it through a second time. Really is intended for serious heat issues which we have not seen with our race car and street versions. Also adds significant cost to a radiator due to the extra fabrication required.

Double and triple core radiators have a second or third row of tubes to add cooling capability with minimal additional cost. This is the most likely way we will go.

Im in too. This will be a full length like the P5? for $250?

Yes, it will be a full length radiator similar to the sedan/P5 length. The final price has not been established yet.

when will preordering start? when can we expect these?

Pre-ordering will start once the prototype has been finalized (aprox. 4-6 weeks) and they will be expected in a reasonable time frame afterward

We are diong our best to push this forward. All your interest and support is greatly appreciated!

As it looks like you will be going with the MSP height and sedan/P5 width, custom mounting brackets will be required. Not a big deal I know, but it will save everyone who buys one of these radiators the hassle of having to make their own brackets. It will be a relatively small cost addition to have a batch of brackets made up with the radiators.

Keep up the good work. (cool)
