Cool....I got my wife tix to see them May 27th at the New Meadowlands.

Whatttttt??? LRP?? AAaaaaaaagggggggghhhhhhhh

You will never be able to cash it. I have a bunch from 27 years of Blissful Marriage. They're void as soon as they're issued.

Bruce speaks the troof.

I'll definitly be at LRP. If I go the truck or SUV route I could take all the tens, grills, Mark's walker, Bruce's wheelchair, etc. since they won't fit in the Miata's and RX-8's.

It's a savings of about $50 per tire, $200 per set. However steelies aren't available for her truck so the cheapest wheels will set her back $560.

The longterm picture is as follows. A 20" snow tire is ~$155. Two sets of these tires will cost $1240. A pair of 17" wheels will run about $560. A 17" snow tire is ~$110. Two sets would cost $880 for a total investment of $1440 once you add in the cost of the wheels. Give or take the price of tires and cost of shipping she wouldn't see any savings until she bought her 3rd set of snow tires. If she gets 3-4 seasons out of the snows that could be 6-12 years from now at which point she'd prolly be looking to sell the truck anyway.

Any chance MS6 wheels and tires fit the Nitro? If I trade in the MS6 I'll have a set of 17" winter rims and snows.

Offset is totally different though. 38mm. OEM tires are 245/50/20 so the speedo would be off considerably.

Yeah, I'm looking to get into something less expensive and more user friendly. I can pick up an '07 or '08 Tundra or Avalanche for around 20k. Low miles and an extended warranty.

I hate to give up the car, but giving up all the extras (leather, etc.) for a vehicle that fits in my budget (much smaller with this economy) is something I am considering. Having a warranty and I could start doing more sidework/ branching out on my own with a truck again.

if you get more serious about this plan, let me know what you'd want for your ms6.. depending on the price, I might be interested.

I went and test drove it. My problem is I can buy a 05-06 BMW 330ci with similar mileage but has a CPO'd warranty for another 4 to 5 years from BMW for around the same money.

yeah, that's a tough call.

although honestly, if I were you and lived where you lived, I'd probably opt for the x over the ci.

Granted, you probably want the coupe, but the x is a lot more practical.
