I'm either thinking of Tein S-techs and Illuminas, the Illumina ILK strut and spring package or BC coilovers....

$600+ for struts and springs..... $850+ for coilovers... simple decision for me... may as well spend the extra money and have some fun.

Well we got the car starting and idling. Now we just need to make a good tune on the Microtech. The software is crazy, and it's going to take me some time to learn it before we can really tune it.

15 mins, a lil bit of plate steel, and a MIG welder... problem solved.

I put the same lowering springs on my MSP, but used the Tokico HP's (Revised Blues) instead of the Illuminas. Ride height should be the same. I have been very pleased. Note however, that the drop they speak of is for the standard Protege. The actual drop on the MSP is more like 3/4". My sig pic shows my ride height on the setup.
