What have you done to your MSP today?

Oh I just remembered a question I wanted to ask you guys.

I went to the local dealership yesterday in search for a bushing. It goes on the bottom end of the SMIC (end closest to the ground). It broke apart when removing the stock SMIC to install my hardpipes and CustomMSP SMIC.

I checked on the 'All Data' website at my work (anybody heard of it?) but could not find any information about the intercooler, even though I remember clicking on "2.0L Turbo" when selecting the car. So I went down to the dealership without a part number, which I knew already was a terrible idea when dealing with the dipshits working there. The guy printed out a couple pages of stuff including a list of part numbers for items included in the turbo setup, about 87 parts in total. However, as my luck goes, there was no part number for just the ******* bushing on the intercooler (which is probably worth 5 bucks) so the guy told me I would probably have to buy the whole intercooler just to get it. I'm sure he is mistaken, but I'm not sure where I should look for such a thing?

Finally washed the msp today. Slapped the roof rack back on. Took some pics but they came out like bobo. Ill take some decent pics tomorrow. Happy New Years everyone.

Shouldn't it be the same bushing/grommet as the normal proteges? It's cause you can drop in a regular rad in the place of both the MSP intercooler and the rad, but you would just need new brackets.

I have no idea, but if somebody can confirm that I would appreciate it.

i should be doing some new gaskets on my apexi n1 tomorrow so i should be getting pics and sound clips of it for anyone interested

I'm pretty sure that the bushing and the bracket it goes into are oem protege. The bottom of the SMIC has the same kinda knob to slide into the bushing as the stock NA radiator does.

I do have mb weapons on my car in 17x7 +43. what I did was put 4 12mm washers on on a few studs and let the wheel sit against them to see where the wheel will sit. 12mm out is where a 17x7 +45 will sit

but today, no more mocking up fitments. Tested a legit 17x8 +45 with a 235/40/17 on my car, at ride height off the lift

I changed my oil.

Queen Obvious (the wife) walks up while I'm under the car.

"You're filthy," she sez.

"I am, and I smell like "man," I reply. "Now service me orally, wench."

She kicked me in the shin and went inside.

@Zack: ******* SECKSIE.

Sorry, but to me those things just look like an easier way to bottom out. Also, the idea of having a lip beneath another lip is just silly.
