"I'm hitting the rear bumpstops prematurely"

Something about that made me laugh. However I'm happy you figured it out.

Gary, nice RX-8 plate frame. I almost bought one as well years back. These would match well.

Yeah, I'm sure I'll eventually get around to getting those. My pillars have a bit of sun damage on them...probably because the car sat around doing nothing for 4 years (i.e. no care)

Gotta start shopping for rims/tires (summer set) though.

Anyone who likes Guinness, Sams Irish Red, or Octoberfest is cordially invites to my apartment to drink it... Please.

Starting the packing today as well as preparing for an online grad class that starts tomorrow.

flooded my engine for the first time today...biggest PITA!

pulled all the spark plugs today gonna throw in some new ones 2morro hopefully before it snows :-/

Man is it a mad house today at work. Nothing but running around trying to fix problems left and right. Not to mention that it is rediculously hot in my office. Someone left the heat on and it's a toasty 85 degrees in here.

Bleh.

Yeah, this is not how I want to spend today. Hehehe I should be asleep still, but I woke up at 430am and couldn't go back to sleep. I've been doing that a lot lately.

I think I may have too...

Went out to start the car this morning and all it did was turn turn turn turn...no firing whatsoever.

...I did shut it off cold yesterday...twice.

1) Is it for sure a flooding issue or could it be something else?

2) How do I go about fixing this (assuming it's flooded)?

probably flooded! try the deflooding procedure, where you hold down the gas pedal (check the owner's manual)

mine was actually sitting from the 24th-26th so wen i went to start it the 27th it started and died right away...so yea it shut off cold.

flooded wicked bad tho i had to take out the spark plugs and do the deflooding procedure

tautochrone yea its probably flooded... to deflood you hold down the gas pedal while u crank it for like 7 seconds to clear the fuel to deflood...try it a couple times if it still doesnt start your probably going to have to pull the plugs too to dry them off

It sat for 3 days and you still had trouble starting? Mine has sat for longer than that with no issues. Do you have the upgraded battery?
