For Sale issues with yellow pro5 (anyone affected please post in here!)

Hey guys, I sent Yellow Pro5 a check for lover $200 for sonme parts for my P5over 2 months ago, and i still have not got the parts, and he keeps giving me excusues after excuses?

Any of you guys have any problems with this guy?? his name is Zach?

I asked him if he had a paypal account and he told me no, so i sent him a business check, come to find out I know he just purchased some parts of a few members with his paypal account?

I trusted him and now im getting screwed?

every now and then he responds and he assured me that my parts were going out today and that i would have tracking #'s pm'd to me but I got nothing?

any and all help would be appreciated. I am going to go to my bank this week and see if i can recover my funds, and then i am going to try and see what other options i have criminally.

I hate when you put your trust in someone, and they just take your money.

I have been a member on many forums and have never had a problem, this is a first.

And I live in the same city as him.....I already said I would pick up and ship the parts for him if his time is soo limited. I think I have seen the car and know where he works as well....But I would have to do some investigating on it. SOmeone I know has to know him....LMK if you want me to begin the "investigating"

yes I got his #, he contacted me today again and assured me he shipped the stuff, just still no tracking#'s, lets see what happens, it is Thanksgiving so i will give him until tonight ore tomorrow.
 
I think 2 months is way to long, I have drag on shipping out stuff that I sold. I can agree that if I have the time to post it up, then I should have it ready to go . I dragged on getting Yellow Pro5 I/C pipping, so I can also understand be busy. ForceFed I will be sending you some info I have to help you.
 
have you guys seen a 16 digit ups tracking#??

I have not, i was under the impression that all ups tracking #'s were 18 digits?

He texted me some tracking #'s they are all 16 digits and none of them work on ups website, they all say "invalid"?

I am going to call ups tomorrow.

I even asked him to double check and he assured me that those were the correct tracking #'s?

He sent them to me twice??

Still a bit worried but i will find out tomorrow.

Found a couple of old ups tracking numbers, you are correct, they were 18 digits, not 16. This guy is ******* around with you.

Have him send you pics of the receipts with readable trackings
 
Assuming at the rate this guy is going at. Your Not getting your parts, man! Your best bet is too take this farther than it should be already. You my friend have some patience to be waiting this long.

Give forcefed a heads up, and have him track this guy down already. Saves you the time and BS this guy is sparking out of his ass. If you don't get your parts, hope you get your money back already man....

tracking #s did not work, it looks like this guy is playing games, i will wait till tonight then try and get my money. Any of you guys that can help me it would be greatly appriciated!
 
Ok, I'm going to speak up, since I finally read this thread and got familiarized with the situation.

First, to the seller, there's absolutely no reason this should have gone on for 2 months. A little communication, quick text, PM, post, etc. would have helped. Letting someone know 'Hey, I can't ship it today, but I can ship it on X date" would have been more than sufficient in most cases. Part of you engaging on a sale is being able to follow through with it. Right now, this dodging and avoiding the issues isn't helping your cause.

I was alerted to the issue after it made its way up the ranks, and I'm suggesting you do one of the following:

1 - PM a moderator the tracking #'s. If they're legit, at least we have an idea on when this issue is resolved. Please provide a link with a picture of the receipt showing tracking #s as well. If not, then a PS title will be issued. (Currently waiting for an answer by Monday, 11/30, 12AM EST)

2 - Contact ForceFed, who has offered to go out of his way to resolve this (big thanks btw!) and help both parties. No one's out to hunt you down, but the goal here is to fix the problem in a timely fashion and move on.

3 - To the buyer, if possible, if none of the other options are exhausted, and if possible (not sure), issue a stop payment on the check. While you won't get the parts you hoped to get, you don't lose any cash either.

One last question; where was the FS thread where this all started? If not in a thread, then this leads me to my last point: don't engage in a sale that's not in a thread! We have rules in place for reasons just like this. While the same outcome could have happened, it provides the moderator team with more evidence to move on the situation. PMing for sales is against forum rules, and can lead to being banned. Buyer, I hope you learned your lesson. Also, Paypal is your friend. Regardless if the seller doesn't have it, it might be worth passing on the item if you can't use a verified means of payment to protect yourself.

If anyone has any questions or needs further help with this issue, don't hesitate to PM me or another moderator on it.

PS - If you don't have any direct input on the sitation, don't post in here. Consider this your warning. I will be cleaning up all the 'dog s***' from this thread.

It was totally out of hand and I had to sift through the bulls*** about all sorts of things that didn't need to be brought up.

I was offering up any potential option to the buyer, since it looks like it's bulls*** at this point.
 
furthermore, this thread is under all of our (mod/admin) attention now. we will all be subscribing and we will all be keeping up with what is going on here.

that means keep it relevant and keep it clean. no reason for this to turn into a witch hunt because that isn't going to solve anything. this does need to be resolved or else there could be administrative action taken.

I'm giving the seller til Monday to comply with my options, otherwise a PS title will be added. From there, it might be worth getting in contact with them if they can't follow up on things, and we'll go from there. Thanks again for offering to fix the situation.

wow yeah iam online and i told you i work alot of hours i mean alot and i was suppose to be off today and then i had to do some runs,,, iam sure you have been called in on your day off too i had box loaded in truck when i went to work and never made it over to the ups it was too late

and i dont have anything to hide i told him from the getgo that i work alot of hours, and i have kept in contact with him everytime he has texted me or emailed me on here

ill never vanish i have met some friends that live near me,,, i have told him from the start and any other things ive sold that i work alot of hours and as soon as i get a chance it will get send out,, iam goin in a lil later in the morning to send it so these will for sure get out

Wierd. He works "alot of hours", but was able to make time to cash that check. Not to mention all the time it must take to come up with all of those excuses...

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even have the parts at this point. It doesn't take two months to get around to shipping anything. If I were you, I'd get a copy of the cancelled check (if there is one) and seek some type of legal action.

I know I'm not in it, but.. if you look on the visitor messages of Yellow Pro5's profile, SirDaft1 seems to have not received a grille he purchased as well.. just wanted to add in there that the OP may not be the only one: "Bro, still waiting on an update on the grill I paid you for over a month ago." (peep)
