got some of the steel this week.. pretty much a huge heap of metal on the slab, much more to come too so i dunno where there gonna put all this stuff.. our contractor is hoping to have the main steel structure up before snow, as far as the outer sheet metal and roof that may have to wait till march unless we get mild weather... most of the tools are in my basement lol..
ur gonna need a few more things that u didnt mention but they can be found at autozone or similar.. grey rtv high torque oil resistant gasket seal.. its a grey tube.. only one in the bunch that i saw at autozone, 300 or higher grit sandpaper, 1400or higher wet sandpaper, make sure its high heat paint.. 18-20 gauge wire to run from the sender to the gauge..
as for the speed 3 project.. looks like we may need to do some molding with the plastic trim, but all in all not too horrible looking, more work getting the pipes to fit really.... my first project for the company within the mazda community is molded mud flaps for the speed 6 and 3.. and also a speed 6 bumper, keeping the same body lines just making it flow with the lip better and the grille piece will be molded to look like its part of the bumper...
im assuming were doing this at ur cousins house?? that garage is really good for painting in..
