You guys know that metal plate under the car that covers the exhaust? Where the stock 2nd cat is? What is it for and do we need it? I installed the turbo XS test pipe and it hits it under hard 1st to 2nd acceleration. It quit when I took it off. I heated it up and pounded it with a hammer to get more clearance, but it still does it. If this is for added rigidity, I'll just pound it some more. Please inform. Thanks.
