zoom zoom club.....i was inducted yesterday......the search begins...might build it up....any advice.....(confused)(scratch)(poke)(sad1)(pissed)(dunno)(squinty)(attn)(bang)

i think you meant the zoom zoom boom club. i would check out speedcircuit.net and protegegarage.com i believe they both sell FS engines. or if you just want a cheap one...hit up a junkyard? they're bound to have atleast a FSDE non turbo that you can bolt yo s*** up to.

what mods did you have on it? I mean they are known to blow stock but just wondering if ya had anything else done to it that may have contributed.

don't build it up, its just a money pit.

true enthusiasts don't build cars to make money. infact you can pretty much say that about any car

yes the BJ/MSP is a bad platform to make true power but it feels really nice to not be one of the 3487292374 integras/RSX/civics/whatever out on the road with the same mods as everyone else

anyway, on topic: speedcircuit sells a (from what I can tell) nice forged short block and can build a head for you too, if you want a 'plug & play' solution

also, JDM Sam at *************.com is an experienced engine builder and has worked on countless FS-DE's. check out his website or shoot him a PM/email and i'm sure he'll be able to help you out

i know you dont build a car to make money.....

notice i didnt recommend him buying a civic and building that instead. i was speaking from my own experience. i dont think it is worth the money to go all out, enthusiast or not. i suggest keeping it a mild build.
