Reset ECU for BPV, TIP & SRI?

I'm just waiting on parts, but hopefully soon I'll be installing a Forge BPV, PG TIP & PG SRI on my MS3. Right now it's completely stock engine-wise. I know I'll have to remove the battery to install the TIP so the ECU will reset. But, will I have to drive it around easy for a bit to let the ECU learn the new parts or can I just drive like normal right after installing everything?

I'm excited to finally get to dig around under the hood, even if it is just simple bolt-ons.

Thanks in advance!

Na, its not necessary. some people think it is, but then again a lot of people like to baby their car. i gunned it wot minutes after installing all of my parts and never any problems. and ive had my mods for at least a year now. i just like to know right away the true difference it makes when you have a new mod and the only way really to do that is to push it hard.

I break them in at various speeds. But not WOT because I don't know how car will perform with those upgrades. I'll say do this for about 100 to 150 miles and then get on it. So that if your car don't like those modifications and acts up, at least you know it wasn't how you broke them in. That's just me. Anyways make sure you recheck all your connections before putting her back together. have fun

Hey bro, can you tell me what you LTFT are with your set up? Mine are crazy high (12.5 idle, 14.8 at mid, 18.9 WOT). I have been resetting the ecu multiple times and still get these numbers with the same setup as you.
