What have you done to your MSP today?

took my first hard corner since the strut bar went in... onramp I take regularly, and I'm not sure if its in my head or not, but turn in felt better, and I got less understeer. from a strut bar? idk, more than I was expecting.

Is that like Butt or seat HP? Just handleing... LOL. Seriously I had mine out for a few days when i coated it and it is the world of differance.

So you don't think I'm nuts? lol
This is making me wanna get the lower reinforcement panel so I can put in the vbrace instead of takin the trade offers in the FS section. lol

sweet. simple solution FTW. lol I had the same issue last winter, but I did it to myself by pullin the radio bezel out without disconnecting anything.

it's highly likely that's exactly what i did as well

Got my gauges installed in a single din triple gauge pod. Moved the radio down and installed the gauges above it (boost/vac, wideband, oil pressure).
The good news? Everything works great! The not so good news? The wideband says I'm running 14/1 at idle, and about 13/1 at 3000 rpms. I think thats too lean, right?

Oh, vac is holding at 22 lbs at idle; oil pressure at 44-45 lbs.

is that under load? lean AFRs at idle aren't a big deal...

Under load? I just watched it as I ran up to about 3,000 to 3,200 rpms in second gear and it dropped from the low 14's to the low 13's. Then came to a stop to idle and it went back to holding steady at 14.4.

Also, do you have any idea what optimum oil pressure should be?

Thanks!

perfect AFRs for complete combustion is 14.7. its only under load you want more fuel in there so as to maintain cooler combustion and not blow things up, the AFRs when you're on it are the important ones.

Surfing the ebay website for who knows what, i came accross this extremely nice metal stickers with MAZDASPEED PERFORMANCE ACCESSORIES, i was like perfect. ill get them and rebadge all of my GTspec Bars, aluminum radiator, aluminum air diversion plate, my 505zoom black powder coated Intake manifold and all of my visual performance mods with these stickers so next time i take the car for inspection even tho i have everything legalize everything will look more legit as CAME WITH THE CAR FROM FACTORY as performance accessories in case one day i get a stupid ass inspector that wants to make my inspection a nightmare..
